Iranian film to compete at film festival in Argentina

Iranian filmmaker Hossein Shahabi’s "Bright Day" has been nominated for the golden Astor Award at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival in Argentina, Iranian news agency Press TV reports.

The film has entered the nominee list of two top prizes including the best film and the best director awards.

Shahabi is expected to attend the screening program of his film.
