Session of UNESCO Committee on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage opens in Baku

The 8th Session of the Committee on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO has opened in Baku. The meeting is being attended by more than 600 people from 95 countries and is presided over by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Abulfas Garayev.On the agenda of the session is enlarging the list of intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent safeguarding as well as the creation of a representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.The 8th Session of the Committee on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO has opened in Baku.
