Armenia will host the sixth Russian Language Festival under patronage of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan between December 3rd and 7th, said Liana Azoyan, spokeswoman of Rossotrudnichestvo, RIA Novosti reports.
The festival was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, Armenian Association of Teachers of the Russian Language, Armenian Association of Russian Scholars and the Armenian Association of Graduates of Russian Universities.
The Moscow delegation includes Vladimir Annushkin, Head of the Subdepartment for Russian Literature and Intercultural Communication of the Russian Language Institute named after Pushkin, Larisa Dunayeva, a professor of the Subdepartment of Russian Language for Foreigners at the Philological Faculty of the MSU named after Lomonosov and Yelizaveta Khamrayeva, a professor of the Subdepartment of Slavic Languages and Methods of Teaching them at the Moscow Pedagogic University.
The festival includes science conferences, seminars, round-table conferences, master classes, open lessons on modern methods and technologies to teach the Russian language and literature. The 4th international science conference of teachers, post-graduates and students of Armenia, Russia and other CIS members will be held. Contests and quizzes will be organized for pupils and students.
