The Sochi-2014 Organizing Committee has presented the cultural program of the Winter Olympic Games. Guests will witness over 500 hours of performances of the best Russian music and dance groups, Yuga.ru reports.
Over 3 million watched the Cultural Olympiad the past 4 years. The cultural program will include the best performances of the Cultural Olympiad of 2010-2013 and the finalists of Russian song contests. Concerts will be held at the Olympic Park, at sports facilities, Live Sites, Greater Sochi halls and the Olympic and Paralympic Villages.
The State Academic Kuban Choir, Lezginka (Dagestan), Aykakan Folklore Theater (Udmurtia), Rodniye Napevy Folk Group (Nenetsk Autonomous District), Orenburg Academic People’s Choir and Vaynakh Group (Chechnya) will perform.
About 5,000 performers from 70 Russian regions will take part in the program. Most performances will be free entry. The schedule of performances is available at http://culture.sochi2014.com/.
