Yesterday a session of the UNESCO Committee on the Protection of Cultural Property During Armed Conflicts took place in Paris. New members of the committee were elected at the meeting.Belgium was elected president of the committee, while Azerbaijan, Egypt, Cambodia and Mali were elected its vice-presidents, 1news.az reports, citing the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.It is the second time that Azerbaijan has been elected to the UNESCO committee.
