Dagestani girl wins “20th Century Idols” song contest

An international youth song contest “20th century Idols” took place at the “Solnechny” resort in the town of Kislovodsk. Singers from 17 to 25 years old from all parts of the Russian south and former Soviet republics were participating in the contest. Khirindu Sultanova, award winner of many Russian contests and grand prix of the “Crystal Magnolia” festival in Las Vegas, won the contest. The contest had two programs: “Dear Land” - patriotic or folk songs and “My Idol” - any pop song.
