36 countries have agreed to take part in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest hosted by Copenhagen (Denmark): Azerbaijan, Austria, Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Israel, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Ukraine, Finland, France, Montenegro, Switzerland, Sweden and Estonia, Trend reports.
Poland and Portugal will join the contest this year. Slovenia has not confirmed whether it will participate or not. Azerbaijan will select its singer within 7 weeks of competitions. Aram Sarkisyan (Aram MP3) will represent Armenia.
Croatia, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Andorra, Serbia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Morocco, Monaco, Turkey and the Czech Republic will skip the contest. The semifinals will be held on May 6-8, and the final on May 10.
