Sergey Devyatov, spokesman of the Federal Security Service, has become the head of the National History Department of the History Faculty of the Moscow State University, Kommersant reports.
Devyatov wrote hundreds of science papers, including studies on history of special services. He will chair the first session in early February.
The State Management Faculty of the MSU has been supervised by Vyacheslav Nikonov, Head of the parliamentary committee for education, since 2011. Sergey Mironenko, Director of the State Archive, heads the History Department of Russia of the 19th century of the History Faculty.
