The Russian informational-cultural center in Baku has held an evening devoted to
the opening of the Year of Culture in Russia.
The guests of the evening could enjoy the exhibition prepared by Russian
artists, Trend reports.
There was also a concert with Russian and Azeri songs and dances and a
performance of Tchaikovsky's music.
"The Year of Culture in Russia is not only an hommage to professionalism
in different genres. Our understanding is broader. Popular culture and
its ethnic roots have a prominent place here," the head of the
Rossotrudnichestvo in Azerbaijan, Valentin Denisov said.
