The 32nd edition of Iran’s most important film festival, Fajr International Film Festival, has started its programs during a ceremony held in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall, Iranian news agency Press TV reports.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani along with the country’s number of cultural officials attended the opening gala held on January 31.
Three eminent Iranian cineastes including Iranian actor Mehdi Hashemi, the celebrated actress and stage director Homa Rousta and Jahangir Mirshekari were honored for their lifetime achievements in cinema at the ceremony.
