Khan Demirov, a high school boy from North Ossetia, has entered the Guinness
Book of Records. In 7 seconds he rolled four doli (a type of Caucasian
drum) - two with his hands, and two with his feet. This record was not easy to
achieve, it took the young boy two years of training.
"While studying, I broke several drums," Khan said. "Right before the
performance in Moscow I broke three drums, I was really worried and wanted
to give up and go home. But then I told myself to keep at it. And now I am very
proud of my record."
Two years ago Khan could not play the drum. He was a dancer, but then got
injured. He could not leave the stage and decided to switch to the drums.
His name will appear on the pages of the Guinness Book when its new edition
is published in September this year.
