A day of Azerbaijani culture has recently been held in Sochi, where the 2014 Winter Olympic games are being held. The head of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, has taken part in the activities devoted to Azerbaijan.
Bach stressed that Azerbaijan is a sporting nation contributing much to the international Olympic movement.
