Adygeya Leader Aslan Tkakhushinov has congratulated the republic on the Adygeya Language and Writing Day. Education centers hold round-table conferences, reading contests, creativity meetings, intellectual games, Yuga.ru reports.
Flowers will be laid at the memorial of Umar Bersey, an Adygeya enlightener notable for publishing the first Circassian spelling book in Tiflis in 1853, at the entrance of the Philology and Culture Faculty of the ASU. Officials of the Culture Ministry, education and science centers, teachers and students studying the Adygeya language will attend the ceremony.
