The 4th “Great Victory achieved by unity” International History Forum will open in Kursk. Veterans, historians, politicians, public figures, journalists, experts members of youth organizations from the CIS, Georgia, Baltic states, Abkhazia and South Ossetia will attend it.
The forum will focus on coverage of the Great Patriotic War events in mass media, preservation of historic records, prospects of young patriotic projects in the CIS, problems of falsifications of history and attempts to rehabilitate fascism.
Attendants of the talks will present science, educational and social projects related to the Great Victory.
A concert will conclude the forum.
The first such forum was organized in 2010. It has been held in Tuapse, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd. The upcoming forum will be held on the eve of the 70th anniversary of liberation of Ukraine and Belarus from fascists and lift of the Leningrad blockade. The forum was organized by the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS, Institute for Eurasian Studies, North-South Center for Political Analysis.
