Caucasus is full of talented people, Nikita Mikhalkov says

Caucasus is full of talented people, famous Russian film director and head of the Russian Union of Filmmakers, Nikita Mikhalkov, told Vestnik Kavkaza in an interview.

According to the director, the Caucasus has a rich culture and unique musical and cinematographic traditions.

Mikhalkov especially noted that he is very fond of Georgia and Azerbaijan.

"The last time I was in the Caucasus I was in Georgia. I love Georgia," he said. " I also love Azerbaijan. I worked together with Rustam Ibragimbekov and I knew Heydar Aliyev," the director added.
