Victor Sadovnichy, the rector of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, was re-elected as the president of the Russian Union of Rectors at the MSU Fundamental Library yesterday.
The Union, founded in 1992, consists of 880 heads of universities. It focuses on improving the quality of education, access to universities and their prestige abroad.
