Law on culture might be adopted by end of 2014A new law "On Culture" which has been discussed for several years now might be adopted by the end of 2014. The first deputy director of the Institute of Economics at the Russian Academy of Sciences, Alexander Rubinstein has suggested to consider introducing charity and "labelled" taxes as part of the new law. In the first case, every tax payer will be given the right to allocate a part of his taxes towards a budget sphere of his choice. In the second case, he'll have the write to choose what taxes (for example, from the purchase of lottery) should be spend on culture, the press service of the Ministry of Culture informed.
