In Makhachkala volunteers of DobroTsentra RDDMOO took part in an event to restore the sites of war graves in the context of the nationwide campaign "Spring Week of Kindness 2015", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The motto of the event was: "I remember, I'm proud of it.’’ The main aim was establishing an effective public control over condition of the memorial places, alleys of glory, war graves and also attract young people to participate in the event to study historical facts in general, RIA Dagestan reports.
Volunteers cleaned the graves and tidied the surrounding area of dry branches and litter, then whitewashed the monuments and painted stars on the gravestones.
