The 70th anniversary of the 7th Guards Division Airborne Forces has been celebrated in Novorossiysk. In Novorossiysk Kuban celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 7th Guards Airborne Division. Today the 7th Guards Division of Airborne Forces celebrated its 70th anniversary. It was formed on the basis of 322-th Guards Airborne Regiment in Polotsk on the 26th of April in 1945.
Significant 70th anniversary of the Suvorov Red-Banner Order of and the Kutuzov Order of the II degree of the air-assault division was celebrated at the Trud central city stadium, where the distinguished officers, sergeants and soldiers were awarded, and then took place a concert of the combined orchestra of the division, the Alexandrov Song and Dance Ensemble and exhibition performance airborne infantry, BK Press reports.
