Azerbaijan to host Nowruz Festival of Turkic Peoples

 

Azerbaijan will receive the 12th Nowruz International Theater Festival of Turkic Peoples, which will be held in Kazan (Tatarstan, Russia) on June 1-7. The festival will boast Shakespeare plays, ethnic parables, puppet shows, the ‘Theater development vector; Europe-Asia’ international conference, trend reports.Attendees of the festival gain no ranks or win grand prix. The contest has been off-contest since 2009. Leading Russian and foreign critics and theater experts will traditionally join the board of critics.
