The Central Exhibition Hall of the Commonwealth of Abkhaz Arstists
will open an exhibition of artists from Kuban entitled 'Southern
Express' on November 18, Yuga.ru reports.
16 modern painters and graphic artists of the Krasnodar Territory will
take part: Russian People's Artist V. Korobeynikov, correspondent of
the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA) and Honored Artist S. Demkin,
correspondent of the RAA Y. Proketov, Honored Russian Artist and
Scholar of the RAA Parshkov, Honored Russian Artist V. Oleynik,
Scholar of the RAA I. Mikhaylenko, artists V. Blokhin, L. Blokhina, I.
Sedova, F. Alexeyenko, A. Akatyev, A. Otroshko, Honored Artist P.
Kukushkin, Y. Yakhnin, N. Kiseleva, S. Yashin.
The artists' age ranges from 40 to 60. They have different levels of
professionalism, education and express different sides of everyday
life, the culture of Kuban in the context of post-modernism.
