Budget income, expenses forecasts unfulfilled in Azerbaijan in 2010

Income of Azerbaijani state budget increased by 10.4% in 2010,
compared with 2009, reaching 11.402 billion manats. The expenses
increased by 12%, reaching 11.766 billion manats. The budget deficit
reached 363.5 million manats, compared with 1.026 billion manats
proficit in 2009, APA cites the Finances Ministry.


The forecasts on income and expsnes in 2010 were 11.505 billion manats
and 12.275 billion manats relatively. The forecasts were unfulfilled
by 0.9% and 4.1%.


4.292 billion manats came from the Tax Ministry (4% below forecasts),
1.101 billion manats (+0.2%) from the State Customs Committee , 5.4
million manats (+8%) from the State Committee for Property, 5.915
billion manats from the State Oil Fund, 87.6 million manats (exceeded
by 5.8-fold) from other sources. The income from the Tax Ministry rose
by 4.4%, compared with 2009, State Committee for Property -- 8%, State
Oil Fund -- 20.3%. The income from the State Customs Committee dropped
by 1%, other sources -- by 51.3%.


793.3 million manats (17.9% below the forecasts) were spent on state
services, 1.185 billion manats (-1.7%) on defense, 668.5 million
manats (-6.2%) on financing law-enforcers and courts, 1.181 billion
manats (-4.8%) on education, 429.4 million manats (-11.6%_ on
healthcare, 1.123 billion manats (-1.7%) on social support, 168.4
million manats (-2.4%) on culture and art, 199.9 million manats
(-0.6%) on housing, 372.1 million manats (-2.5%) on agriculture and
forest economy, 4.147 billion manats (-0.6%) on industry, 55.1 million
manats (-26.1%) on transport and communications, 115.9 million manats
(-7.3%), on economic activities, 1.325 billion manats (-4.9%) in other
spheres.
