The governor of Kuban, Alexander Tkachev, met with the head of the Caucasus region Vitaly Ochkalasov and studied the situation in this administrative region, Yuga.ru reports.
The results of 2010 in region were positive. The budget grew by 6%, Ochkalasov said. The average salary was increased to 14,300 rubles.
Tkachev stated that unification of Krapotkin and the Caucasus region was a reasonable decision.
"People wanted to live in a united territory but administrative boundaries prevented them from it. Now we can see positive dynamic of the Caucasus region development. The authorities pay their attention to sport, reconstruction of social facilities, development of medicine and education", the governor said.
