Considering recent protest actions of Armenian traders going to Turkey in Istanbul and Yerevan against double rising of prices on imported products from Turkey, the Internal Revenue Committee officially presented its explanation, NEWS.am reports.
The statement says that duty tax on imported clothes hasn't been changed. As for double price hike, it is about transport payments, which is not in the sphere of the Internal Revenue Committee's business. As for rumors that transport payments on products from Istanbul make up 97% of duty tax, it is not true, as product rate is 32% and in some cases only 22%.
Armenian traders plan to protest in front of the governmental residence tomorrow.
