A protest was organized at the Armenian government building against
increased prices for customs clearance of goods imported from Turkey
to Armenia, News Armenia reports.
Tens of shuttle traders are protesting against the price, which has
been raised from $4 to $8 per kilo of goods from Turkey and demanded
the government to reconsider the decision.
A spokesman for the government's office proposed the protesters
express their demands in written form and send them to the
authorities.
The protesters expect an answer at 17.00.
A large number of police officers are in the area.
