Azerbaijan exported 45 out of 51 million extracted tons of oil in
2010, head of the State Statistics Committee Arif Valiyev said on
Tuesday, Trend reports.
The official said that Azerbaijan extracted 50.83 million tons of oil
and condensate, exceeding the indicator in 2009 by 0.9%.
Most of the oil was produced at the international operation company,
extracting oil on Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field and the Shah-Deniz gas
condensate field. The company extracted 43.61 million tons of oil and
gas condensate, exceeding the indicator in 2009 by 1.1%.
Azerbaijan extracted 26.23 billion cubic meters of gas in 2010, which
is by 11.2% more than in 2009. 16.67 billion cubic meters of the total
volume was sales gas, exceeding the volume by 2.1% compared with 2009.
Over 6.3 billion cubic meters were state gas, approximately 10.33
billion - gas extracted in cooperation with foreign companies.
