The Trans-Caucasus road, closed for heavy vehicles at 21.00 (Moscow
time) on Thursday due to heavy snow, is now open as usual, RIA Novosti
cites Yulia Starchenko, head of the press-service of the Emergencies
Ministry in North Ossetia, as saying.
The Trans-Caucasus traffic artery is the only direct land connection
between Russia and South Ossetia and goes through the Roksky mountain
pass.
