Armenia, Iran to start joint construction of oil pipeline

Yerevan and Tehran have reached an agreement on constructing a
pipeline for transit of Iranian oil products to Armenia, Iranian
Petroleum Minister Masoud  Mir Kazemi said at a meeting with Armenian
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan in Tehran,
Armenia Today reports.


The Iranian minister said that the pipeline will be built from Tabriz
to Armenia. Mir Kazemi said that the prices and the amounts of export
will be decided in the near future, Press TV reports.


Movsisyan had a meeting with Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali
Akbar Salehi and discussed construction of a railway between Armenia
and Iran.
