A meeting between Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran on the "North-South”
international transport corridor took place today, Trend reports.
The establishment of a joint venture for the construction of a
railway connecting Qazvin and Rasht were discussed at the meeting,
along with other issues.
The project provides for the construction of about 8.5 km of railway
in Azerbaijan, as well as border and customs infrastructure. A border
railway bridge is also required.
