Today in the Tkibul coal mines in Western Georgia a fully-fledged strike began at 6 am, Trend reports. On Monday the miners held a warning two-hour strike.
They demand the implementation of decisions adopted on January 27 at a meeting of the miners.
The demands are the signing of unlimited contracts with "Gruzugol"; providing work safety;indexation of salaries according to growth of inflation and prices and so on.
The miners say the strike will be continued until all their demands are satisfied.
The administrations of the enterprise and the town were informed about the strike.
