Russia increases oil production but reduces oil exports in January

In January Russia increased oil production by 1.5% in comparison with January last year - up to 43,188 million tons. Meanwhile, oil exports fell by 5.6% - down to 19,707 million tons, RIA Novosti reports.

Supply of oil raw materials for recycling increased in Russia by 4.5%, to 21,634 million tones. Oil of primary recycling increased by 2.5%, to 643,700 tones.

According to the ministry of energy, Russia increased oil production in 2010 by 2.2% and reduced its oil exports by 0.6%.
