Georgia expands export market of herbs

Georgia is expanding market for the exports of its herbs, Business-Georgia reports.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia about 18% more herbs were exported in 2010 compared to 2009. In 2010, exports amounted to 4,433,139 kg at 2,557,180 dollars.

Georgia is exporting herbs to Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Czech Republic, Romania, Azerbaijan and Poland.
