Georgian Minister of Finance Kakha Baindurashvili announced that the
economy of Georgia has returned to the trend of growth. In the last
year growth was 6 percent, the minister said in Batumi at a meeting of
cabinet members with business representatives, organized by the
Business Association, Business Georgia reports.
According to the explanatory notes to the Minister, in contrast to
other countries, Georgia has already returned to the path of
development, due to the successful implementation of the fiscal
stimulation program, which was realized with an assistance package of
$4.5 billion dollars.
