Stavropol Territory expects to attract 7 billion rubles for agriculture in 2011

The minister of agriculture of Stavropol Territory, Igor Zhuravlev,
said that 21 agricultural projects worth 22 billion rubles are
currently being implemented in the region.

According to the press service of the governor of the Territory,
Stavropol is expecting to attract more than 7 billion rubles into
agriculture and raise the volume of investments into basic
agricultural assets up 102% compared to 2010.

The “Stavropol Broiler” is among the most advanced investment projects
in southern Russia. Its commissioning will increase the annual
production of meat up to 80 thousand tons.
