Today Baku is hosting an Azerbaijani-Lithuanian business forum, with the assistance of the ministry of economic development and the Fund for export and investment support of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The chairman of the parliament of Azerbaijan, Otgai Asadov, stated that trade turnover between the two countries is developing rapidly.
There are huge possibilities for development of oil cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania. The business forum will help to establish joint enterprises in the future, increasing mutual investments and trade and economic cooperation in many other spheres.
The chairwoman of the Lithuanian Seim (parliament) emphasized that her country has great experience in the spheres of information technology, environmental security and the food industry and Lithuania is ready to share its experience with Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan and Lithuania business projects were presented at the forum.
