Turkey is beginning to get involved in space activity. It is planned to establish a space agency in Turkey, aimed at protecting the country’s interests in this sphere, TRT reports.
The agency, which will determine the national space policy of Turkey, will train astronauts. The Turkish space agency will develop models of space aircraft.
New laboratories are planned to be established. Launch grounds will be constructed.
The agency will also implement defense programmes.
