The optimal level of oil extraction, covering internal and export
demands of Russia has been achieved, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir
Putin said at round-up meeting on the work of the fuel and energy
complex in 2010, RIA Novosti reports.
Putin noted that gas extraction increased by 12% in 2010. Oil
extraction reached 505 million tons annually.
He reminded that the figures were achieved by launching major oil
extraction facilities in East Siberia.
