Approximately a million Georgian consumers will pay electricity fees
with 20-lari vouchers, Business Georgia reports.
Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri said that the government provided
$20 million for the issue. Voucher will be handed out on February 10 -
March 15. Georgians consuming over 200 kv/h in six months will not
receive vouchers. Refugees will receive them as financial support.
Minister of Labor, Healthcare and Social Protection Andria Urushadze
said that over 2,500 employees of social services will be issued
vouchers. There is a hotline for any problems on the issue 91 00 46.
People may hand their vouchers to others until June 1.
