Products produced in Azerbaijan should meet standards of the European
Union, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with the
public in Tovuz District, AzerTAG reports.
A lot can be done in animal breeding, grape and wheat growing.
Azerbaijan may fulfill its energy security. The country produces
enough food products and exports them. Non-oil products are only
exported to neighbor states. Exporting products to European markets
requires standards of the EU, the president emphasized.
He added that many new enterprises meet the standards.
Aliyev concluded that Azerbaijani export potential will become more
multilateral, expanded and will bring more profit, increasing the
standards of life. The main goal is to give a fair living and have
economy develop.
