IEA to reconsider forecasts on oil consumption

The International Energy Agency (IEA) will reconsider forecasts on
global oil consumption for 2011. The agency published a statement
predicting 89.3 million barrels of oil consumed daily. China is the
main consumer. It set a new record in December, increasing consumption
by 12.2%.

Experts say that the rising prices for crude oil may have a negative
effect on global economy. The recent events in Egypt affect investors,
despite the normal passing of vessels through the Suez Canal.
