Train traffic between Russia and Azerbaijan to see changes

The North Caucasus Railway, a subsidiary of the Russian Railways, is
normalizing train traffic between Azerbaijan and Russia, Trend
reports.

The new schedule will have passenger and freighting transport from
18:00 to 06:00 on Derbent-Artezian section, head of the press-service
of Azerbaijani Railways Nadir Azmamedov said on Thursday.

The North Caucasus Railways did not comment on the new works and terms
of returning to the former schedule.

Azmamedov said that the Russian Railways is working on simplifying the
process of examination and will inform Azerbaijan about the results
tomorrow.

Azmamedov noted that the Moscow-Baku train, which was to arrive at
08.00, will have a 10-minute delay.

Dagestan had train and railway blasts in 2010. Azerbaijani Railways
says that the blasts affected the passenger flow to Russia.
