Iran to provide Armenia with 1.5 million litres of oil products

Yerevan and Tehran have concluded a deal on the export of 1.5 million
litres of petrol and diesel fuel to Armenia, Iranian Deputy Petroleum
Minister Alireza Zeygami said, The Tehran Times reports.


The deputy minister said that 750,000 litres of petrol and 750,000 of
diesel fuel will be exported to Armenia daily.


Zeygami visited Armenia in mid-January. He met the Minister of Energy
and Natural Resources of Armenia Armen Movsisyan. They talked on the
gas deal for 25 years. A 365-kilometer pipeline to import oil products
to Armenia will be built from Tebriz to Yerevan in 2014.


The officials talked on constructing the third high-voltage power line
between Iran and Armenia, which will be launched in 2012.
