8.3% annual inflation in Azerbaijan

In January 2011 the cost of consumer goods and tariffs for services in
Azerbaijan increased 0.8% compared to December, 1news.az reports,
referring to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

In particular, food prices increased 1.5% in January compared to
December and tariffs for services decreased 0.4%, while the cost of
consumer goods remained stable.

The annual inflation for 2010 amounted to 8.3%.
