Georgia and Qatar have signed an air traffic treaty, Business Georgia reports. The treaty was signed by the minister of economy of Georgia, Vera Kobaliya, and the head of Air Qatar, Abgar Albeker. Kobaliya has been on an official visit to Qutar from February 13.
She conducted negotiations on air traffic with Qatar which resulted in the signing of the treaty. The establishment of air links between Tbilisi and Doha contributes to the development of business between two countries. Moreover, Air Qatar can find in Tbilisi its own hub for flights in Europe and Asia.
