Georgia to hold national business competition

The Ministry for Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has
announced a national business competition "Mercury 2011", Business
Georgia
reports.

Economy Minister Vera Kobalia promised at today's briefing that
“Mercury” will be the most prestigious award.

According to Kobalia, the aim of the national competition is the
presentation of Georgian businesses, their promotion and
popularization. The award is designed to facilitate new initiatives
for finding innovative solutions in local businesses and expanding the
range of their activities and development.

The initiators are the Investment Agency and the Ministry of the
Economy. HSBC is the general sponsor.
