Georgia plans to build regional grain terminal

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has talked about plans for
building a grain terminal of regional importance in Georgia, Trend
reports.

According to the Minister of Agriculture, Bakur Kvezereli, Georgia has
four mill plants, but no grain terminals of a regional scale. The
minister also noted that the terminal will most likely be built in the
Black Sea port of Poti.

Georgia has been holding talks with Kazakhstan on building a grain
terminal for the past several years.
