Armenian GDP rose by 7.7% in January

Armenian GDP rose by 7.7% in January 2011 compared to January 2010,
News Armenia cites the National Statistics Service as saying.


Consumer prices rose by 10.6% in this period. The price for industrial
products increased by 11.5% compared to January 2010.


The country produced industrial products worth $173.5 million,
exceeding the indicator in January 2010 by 5.7%.


The foreign trade turnover of Armenia reached $321.6 million, rising
by 2.3% compared to January 2010.


Armenian GDP is planned at 4.6% in 2011.
