Authorities in Georgia to assign stars to hotel

The law will monitor the process of assigning stars to hotels in
Adjara, according to the legislative initiative of the Supreme Council
of Adjara, Business Georgia reports.

Previously hotels assigned themselves a number of "stars." The
legislature of Adjara fears that they might not meet international
standards. The authorities plan to develop a single mechanism, which
will determine the criteria for the stars' standards.
