Repair work of the catalytic cracking at the Baku oil refinery named after Heydar Aliyev has been halted, according to a message of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR), the owner of the refinery, Trend reports.
The pipe complexes of two heat-exchange units have been replaced and the reactor, regenerator and columns analyzed. Specialists are currently fixing the air-cooling system, heat-exchange units and pipes. Catalyst transport lines were checked.
One of the main repair works is replacement of TDS equipment for that of EXPERION, which provides better control.
Maintenance will be completed in the near future.
