Georgian foreign trade turnover increases by 50%

In January of this year, the foreign trade turnover of Georgia amounted to $584 million, a 52% increase compared to the previous year, Rosbalt reports, with reference to the National Statistics Service.

Turkey remains the main economic partner of Georgia, with trade turnover between the two countries reaching $96 million; second place belongs to Ukraine ($60 million), and third to Azerbaijan ($51 million).
